Culture Club meet-up x I Love Movies Quiz Night at Miss Q’s…Following The Culture Club’s proud victory at the Spin Doctor’s hip-hop pub quiz last year (TOTAL ANHILATION! ARRGH!), I’ve been wanting to put on a quiz night ever since. But it had to be different. It had to be FUN. It had to leave people wondering, “where’s this quiz been all my life!?”. So after getting my heads together with some friends, we created the I Love Movies quiz night, a new monthly event for both film buffs and quiz fanatics, with some pretty hilarious rounds (Act-iculate!) and some noice prizes up for grabs, thanks to the brilliant Miss Q’s.
This month’s theme was Comedy and much love to teams U2 X 2, 3 Cinderellas and a Beast (lol) and Shabah for coming out on the evening and giving it their best shot (still yet to shake off the image of a particular team member trying to portray Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno, smh!). But it was The Breakfast Club that conquered with a score of 70, a good 37 point lead ahead second placers Shabah. Their prize? A £20 meal tab courtesy of Miss Q’s and the pride of knowing that they’re WINNERS - a great way to kickstart the week methinks!
